Use these project photos to narrow down the colors, layouts and finishing details you like. A photo is a starting point: samples viewed in your own home help you judge how a floor will look beside your cabinets, walls and furniture.
Look at plank direction, board width, transitions between rooms and the contrast between the floor and trim. In the tile photos, notice the pattern and grout color as well as the tile itself. Screen settings and lighting can change how a finish appears, so save a few favorites to discuss with us before choosing a material.
Explore hardwood installationIf you already have hardwood, a refinishing photo may be more useful than a new-floor example. The options for your home depend on the existing wood, its condition and the remaining wear layer. For a replacement project, compare the appearance you want with the preparation and material requirements for each room.
