Carpet is priced per job (carpet, pad and installation together) because the cost depends on the carpet you choose, the number of rooms and stairs, and the layout. Carpet hides small bumps but not loose boards, squeaks or damp concrete. Before the pad goes down we vacuum the subfloor, screw down loose plywood, fix squeaks, fill gaps and check concrete slabs for moisture. If the subfloor needs more work than a minor repair we tell you before we start and price it separately, so there are no surprises on installation day.
We pull up the old carpet and pad, replace damaged tack strip, pull staples and haul everything away. You do not need to rent a dumpster or make a trip to the dump. Ask us about moving furniture when you book.
