Wills Flooring Terms & Conditions

How we work together on your flooring project

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply to flooring estimates, sales and installation work performed by Wills Flooring, a licensed and insured Washington contractor based in Everett, WA. By accepting an estimate you agree to the terms below.

Estimates

Estimates are free and are given in your home after we measure the space. Every estimate is itemized line by line (materials, labor, removal, stairs, trim). Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Scheduling & Access

We agree on a start date in writing. You provide access to the work area, working electricity and water, and remove small items and breakables before we arrive. Furniture moving, if needed, is listed on the estimate.

Deposits & Payment

A deposit is due when you sign the estimate; the balance is due on completion of the work. We accept cash, check, major credit and debit cards, and financing through the Shaw Flooring Network credit card (issued by Wells Fargo Retail Services) with approved credit.

Change Orders

Any change to the scope of work is priced and approved in writing before the extra work starts. Change orders are added to the final invoice.

Materials

You select the materials. Special-order materials are ordered for your project and are non-returnable and non-refundable once ordered. Natural products such as hardwood vary in color and grain; samples show the range, not an exact match.

Site Conditions

Subfloor damage, moisture, asbestos-containing materials or other hidden conditions found after work begins are outside the original estimate. We stop, show you the issue, and quote the repair separately before continuing.

Workmanship Warranty

Our labor on hardwood installation, hardwood refinishing and laminate installation is covered by a 1-year workmanship warranty from the completion date. Manufacturer warranties apply to the materials themselves. The warranty does not cover normal wear, water damage, moisture-related movement, or damage caused by others.

Cancellation

You may cancel with written notice before work starts. The cost of special-order materials already ordered is non-refundable; any remaining deposit is returned.

Liability & Insurance

Wills Flooring is a licensed, bonded and insured Washington contractor. Our liability is limited to the value of the work under the accepted estimate, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
